Dark Archivist is the alter ego of Oxfordshire Record Office, one of the more offbeat parts of Oxfordshire County Council. ORO has spent the past 70 years gathering together the old papers and manuscripts of Oxfordshire - letters from kings and criminals, diaries and deeds, everything to do with the people and places of the county. The content of the Dark Archivist site is a tiny, tiny fraction of what we hold.
